Welcome!

 to the

Marin County School Boards Association Webpage

Founded in 1971, the Marin County School Boards Association (MCSBA) represents 19 school districts, the Community College District and the County Office of Education in Marin County, California.  We support all school board trustees and superintendents.

The purpose of the Association is to promote and advance public education; to enhance the knowledge of school board members; to promote the enactment of legislation for the improvement of education program.

The Association is made up of the executive board and a representative from each participating district.  MCSBA provides educational and networking opportunities through workshops and events.  All meetings, workshops and events are open to all school board members and superintendents.  Please click the link below to view our current calendar.  During an election cycle, MCSBA will host school board candidate workshops in August and September.  The conclusion of each year is celebrated with the Golden Bell Awards.

If you have questions about the Association, please contact me by email at dbutler@nusd.org
