MARIN QUALITY COUNTY QRIS RATING INFORMATION
Marin Quality Counts QRIS Rated Programs
All programs and providers rated by Marin Quality Counts demonstrate a commitment to quality and compliance with California’s Community Care Licensing (CCL) requirements. Participation in Marin Quality Counts rating is voluntary. The following is a brief summary of what each quality level indicates. Programs and providers mastering or exceeding high quality standards receive recognition through Marin Quality Counts.
Rating Tiers
Tier 1: Participating in Quality Standards
(Licensed and is in good standing with Community Care Licensing regulations)
Tier 2: Approaching High Quality Standards
(Licensed and exceeds Community Care Licensing regulations in some areas. Beginning to explore quality improvement activities)
Tier 3: Implementing High Quality Standards
(Licensed and exceeds Community Care Licensing regulations in multiple areas. Independent rating assessments have been completed)
Tier 4: Mastering High Quality Standards
(Licensed and exceeds Community Care Licensing regulations in all areas. Independent rating shows higher scores)
Tier 5: Exceeding High Quality Standards
(Licensed and exceeds Community Care Licensing regulations in all areas. Independent rating shows the highest scores)
