    Marin Art Teachers Workshop - May 20, 2017

    Lynn Wood, also known as The Pottery Texture Queen returns for another popular hand building clay workshop. Working with templates, slabs and textures we will construct basic lidded forms then explore a variety of ways to alter and personalize each piece. Classes are filled with artists at all levels, art teachers of all grade levels, and art enthusiasts who share their ideas and techniques.
    • Continuing Education Units are available
    • Each participant will be able to go beyond the basic construction
    • Exploration will include a teapot variation and a few surprises!
    • Texture will be involved
    • Everyone will go home with some new pots and new skills

    Walker Creek Ranch is hosting the 2017 Marin County Project Based Learning Institute in June, 2017.  This is not only a great learning opportunity but also a chance to experience the beautiful outdoors at Walker Creek Ranch.  There are four professional development opportunities to choose from: PLB 101 (Grade Level or Content Area), PBL 201 (Prerequisite: PBL 101); Coaching Academy and Leadership Academy.
