    National Board Certification to Marin County Teachers

    MCOE will be starting its second year of partnering with Stanford University's National Board Resource Center to deliver profound professional development to our Marin County teachers. MCOE hosted the National Board Certification (NBC) Orientation last month in which teachers from seven districts attended.     M-NGC Ignite

    Join us for the CaMSP Marin's Next Generation Collaborative for Science and Mathematics in a presentation by participating teachers. M-NGC is taking place May 23rd, 2016 at the College of Marin Academic Center.

    Physical Science, Volume 3 – May 25, 2016

    Join us as we present on the Science Domain of the CA Preschool Learning Foundations and Curriculum Frameworks, Volume 3!  We will literally "roll out" Physical Sciences using cars and ramps.

    Math and Science Consortium Update

    At the April 22, 2016 meeting we had 10 districts represented with 14 attendees.  The next step with the consortium is to come together in May to develop training modules to support NGSS trainings in June, create Math modules around fluency and mathematical practices to support back to school training and an administrator workshop to support observations of science and math practices in the classroom.

    Inventing Our Future 2016 - August 9-11, 2016

    This is a 3-day opportunity for learning, renewal, and community building offered by the Alameda County Office of Education's Integrated Learning Department.  A grant from Marin Community Foundation covers the participation fee for Marin County teachers and educational administrators (use the registration code MARIN2016).
