Requirements to Re-register on the Countywide Substitute List

  • On behalf of our students and teachers, thank you for your interest in re-registering on the Countywide Substitute list.

    If you were active on the countywide substitute list within the last 6 months:

    On average, those returning to the countywide substitute list have 1-3 requirements to complete. We recommend connecting with the Credential Analyst to determine your reactivation requirements. You're welcome to schedule an in-person meeting, a phone conference meeting, or attend a substitute meeting (please see information below).

    If you have been inactive on the countywide substitute list for more than 6 months:

    You must complete the Re-registration Form.

    You will need to connect with the Credential Analyst to determine your reactivation requirements. You're welcome to schedule an in-person meeting, a phone conference meeting, or attend a substitute meeting (please see information below).

    Available Substitute Meetings:

    Substitute meetings allow returning substitutes the opportunity to review re-registration requirements, pick-up forms, personally deliver re-registration documents, and ask questions regarding substituting in Marin County. Please note: the meetings are on a walk-in, first-come, first-serve basis.

    Mondays: 11:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.*
    Thursdays: 4:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.*
