    • Immunizations required by age and grade
    • Changes due to SB277 and conditional admission
    • Requirements for medical exemption documentation

    Diabetes Training - September 14, 2018

    Any staff that will need to recognize these signs and symptoms to support students with diabetes should plan to attend this informational workshop.  Participants will get an overview of diabetes, learn the basic signs and symptoms of someone with diabetes, and determine assessment of non-emergency status. 

     

    Comprehensive Sexuality and Puberty Education Trainings - Puberty Talk September 24, 2018, Teen Talk October 3 & 4, 2018

    Health Connected is a leading provider of comprehensive sexuality education for the Bay Area.  Their 2018 curricula has been updated to be more inclusive of diverse identities.  The trainings they offer are in compliance with the California Healthy Youth Act for sexual health education.  

     

    Culture of Care - Train the Trainer - October 8 & 9 or October 11 & 12, 2018

    The Culture of Care training prepares educators to deliver breathing, mindful movement and relaxation exercises in the classroom...while training colleagues to do the same.  The training is delivered in two full-day sessions.  Each session includes a self-care practice for participants, practical implementation strategies, and Q & A.
