Summer Career Academies - Postponed for Summer 2020

The Marin County Office of Education and College of Marin partner to offer career academies for high school students in Marin. These academies provide intensive work-based learning experiences and career exploration for high school students in specific industry sectors. Most academies are 30-40 hours and take place during the summer over 1-2 weeks. College of Marin staff and/or industry partners act as the lead instructors. Several academies award college credit and include field trips to worksites and guest speaker panels with industry experts.

The career academies are an exemplary model of a public-private partnership with innovative educational offerings based on local and current workforce needs. Learn more at the Marin Career Education Website.
