Equity, Social Justice, and Anti-Bias in Early Childhood Education - November 7, 2018 and December 8, 2018
The Marin County Office of Education Early Childhood Education Department presents two Equity, Social Justice, and Anti-Bias workshop series: Saturday Workshops (Spanish translation available), and Affinity Group Workshops in the evening. The next Saturday Workshop takes place December 8th, while the next Affinity Group Workshop will be held November 7th.
The Teaching Pyramid Framework promotes social and emotional development, provides support for children's appropriate behavior, prevents challenging behavior, and addresses problematic behavior.
Increase capacity for imagination, awareness, and connection of body-mind through the art of dance. Integrating theory and practice, the Luna Dance workshops activate the imagination to improve teaching and create change.
The workshop is required for new Marin Quality Counts and PreK3/ECE Q1 participants. Open to the Early Care and Education community.
The Marin County Office of Education Early Childhood Education Department presents California Preschool Learning Foundations, Volume 2 Visual and Performing Arts and Physical Development - Luna Dance Institute. All are welcome to join this joyful, informative, standards-based workshop being held on Saturday, December 15th. This interactive learning experience will help participants understand and identify uses for movement activities to help meet children's needs and program goals.
