  • School Violence and the Active Shooter -

March 7, 2019 Training Rescheduled due to Government Shutdown - Tenative new date April 16, 2019

This 4-hour course is designed for schools, to include administrators, principals, school faculty, teachers, staff, and associates, with responsibilities for Emergency Preparedness and Response to address the threat of an active shooter and other violent critical incidents on school (K-12) and college campuses.

It is a fact that the actions of school personnel during a critical incident will save more lives than emergency first responders.  Statistically, once a shooting starts a life is taken every 15 seconds.  It is imperative that school personnel act quickly to implement a response to school violence.  During this course, attendees will receive informative presentations on the history and dynamics of school shootings, Awareness - Preparation and Response tactics for educators, behaviors of concern and reporting strategies, defensive classroom mindset, and the law enforcement response.

Tuition is free but all attendees must be registered to attend.
