  • Project Based Learning 101 - August 13, 14, and 15, 2019

    The Marin County Office of Education will be hosting the Buck Institute for Education in facilitating their updated Project Based Learning (PBL) 101 on August 13, 14, and 15, 2019.  Please share with teachers interested in learning more about PBL.  The cost is $399 per educator and an opportunity to purchase 1.5 CEU through Dominican University.  Please contact Beth Kradepohl, bkradepohl@marinschools.org, with any questions or to register a team from your school.

    Connecting NGSS to Marin's Bay and Ocean Backyard - June 17, 18, and 19, 2019

    How do we include the study of climate change as it relates to Marin County's coastal ecosystems in the curriculum and engage students to better understand their local aquatic ecosystems in a way that moves them to stewardship and action? The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) awarded Marin County Office of Education with a BWET Grant to work with 6th - 12th grade science teachers for the 2018-29 school year around the impact of climate change on the local coastal ecosystems that surround Marin County.  Click here for registration details.
