Marin Prevention Network

  • Marin Prevention Network (MPN) is a program of Marin County Health and Human Services and works collaboratively across Marin County to reduce underage substance use. MPN seeks to change community norms, policies and laws that affect the availability, promotion, sale and use of alcohol, marijuana, tobacco and other drugs, and works to create an environment that reduces risks and harms and promotes healthy choices.

Marin Prevention Network (MPN) is excited to offer an informative, bilingual, and educational School Communication Toolkit. The purpose of the toolkit is to provide schools K - 12 with communication to send out to parents and faculty about subjects related to substance use including root causes and protective factors. The School Communication Toolkit is a compilation of resources including letters, facts, and data for schools to use and customize for your needs. The toolkit is accessible to all schools in Marin County and is sorted by subject matter. We hope you will find this toolkit helpful. Please let us know if there are topics you would like addressed by emailing mgrant@marinschools.org or to provide input you have to strengthen this program.

Let's Talk
