Sonday System Workshop for Special Education Teachers & Intervention Specialists for Grades 3-8: October 1, 2019
This Special Education workshop presents a multisensory approach to reading instruction for intermediate readers. Participants must bring a Sonday System kit purchased in advance by their school/district for training. Workshop is offered at no cost for Marin County educators, $100 for out-of-county educators. Diagnostic Center Workshop series continues with Silent Suffering: What to Know and What to Do for Students with Internalizing Disorders – October 7, 2019
This month’s workshop offers a brief training highlighting symptoms of anxiety and depression, and providing information on how to diagnose and treat such disorders through evidence-based, best practice interventions. Behavior & Emergency Intervention Training - October 1, 2019
Review Behavioral Intervention procedures including but not limited to Functional Assessment methodology, creation of a Behavior Intervention Plan, and an overview of Behavior Services. Examples of materials and procedures to be utilized will be reviewed, and reporting guidelines will be outlined.
