Yogi tea quote: "Live light, travel light, spread the light, be the light."
Happy Friday everyone!!! This week we read about the forces of push and pull. A push is an example of force that can move you forward. Like pushing a wheelchair. A pull is a force also, such as pulling on weeds in a garden.
We had Lily, a student from Marin Catholic, join us on zoom and guide us in an art projct she made for our class. It was super fun and calming. Miss Michelle had a fun lesson on how spiders spin a web.
Have a beautiful weekend!!

Yogi tea quote: "May this day bring you peace, tranquility and harmony."
Hi everyone! This month our theme is about physical science and objects that move. We have been learning about the movement of our bodies and objects such as with sports. We will be reading about actions such as the forces of push and pull and how the forces determine qualities in speed, distance and height.
We had a visit form our dog friends, keeping physical distance. They had the dogs run through an agility course for us. It was super cool!
Speaking of cool, stay cool this weekend and have a good one!!!

Yogi tea quote: "Give happiness and you will be happy."
Happy Friday family and friends!!!
We had a fun week with some cool visitors. Laura and her dog Conrad took a walk with us while we kept our physical distancing, they were on the other side of the street. We waved and said hi! On Friday we played charades with Mihail and Tyler on zoom. We read more about rules and laws and came up with rules for playing outside. For example, we walk together to the track, then we get to run around the track. Ben treated the class to Kona ice!!! It was really nice on a hot day! We had a science lesson on how phones were invented then we made phones out of cups and string. Remember doing that as kids!!!
Enjoy your weekend and stay safe from the smoke.

Yogi tea quote: "What belongs to you shall come."
Welcome to the weekend! This week we did an experiment with balloon rockets. We asked the question: What moves faster, a heavier object or a lighter object.? We blew up two balloons and taped a battery to one. Then we taped them to string with a straw and attached them to a long string and let the air out of them. We wanted to see which balloon would move faster when the air is pushed out. Check out the pics and video. Our experiments don't always work but we sure have fun triying!!
We also had yoga zoom with Willie's dad Marc. We made centipedes by folding paper many times and cutting for the legs and body. And we watched a mystery science video about who invented candy. Super fun week!
Have a Happy Halloween!~~
