Yogi tea quote: "Love is the ultimate law of life."
Happy Friday and Happy Hanukkah! This week we celebrated Hanukkah and discovered some fun Jewish holiday festival of lights traditions. We played the dreidel game, made latkes, and found out the difference between a menorah and a hanukkiah. Hanukkah celebrates the victory of the Maccabee's over the Syrian-Greek army and commemorating the Holy Temple. One vial of oil kept the menorah, or hanukkiah, lit for eight nights, which is why it is celebrated for eight days. It was fun learning about the happy, winter Jewish holiday.
Have an excellent weekend!!!

Yogi tea quote: "The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn."
Happy Holidays!!!! We've been talking about traditions and holiday fun this week. Many of us decorate the Christmas tree, sing songs, bake cookies and open presents. But some of us like to eat pizza for Christmas dinner! We made a special chain of traditions to decorate the classroom, baked ginger bread cookies, and had a fun lesson about holiday activities with Miss Celia. Always fun durning the holidays!!!
Enjoy the weekend!!!

What an incredible year it has been. I've enjoyed growing with your children this year and learning so much from them. I feel so blessed to have them in my life. I wish everyone a safe and wonderful winter break. I look forward to seeing you in the new year.
Much love to all!!
