    The enclosed Request for Proposals (RFP) invites proposals from nonprofit organizations with subject matter expertise in genocide and Holocaust education to design and implement a statewide genocide and Holocaust education program, as defined by 2021-22 California Budget Act, Senate Bill 130 (155). SEC. 155. (a) The sum of two million dollars ($2,000,000) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to the Superintendent of Public Instruction for allocation to the Marin County Office of Education to contract with nonprofit organizations with subject matter expertise in genocide and Holocaust education to perform the following activities from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2024, inclusive: (1) Develop and provide curriculum resources related to genocide and Holocaust education. (2) Provide professional development, including educator training, on genocide and Holocaust education. Proposals are due January 10, 2022, at 4:00 pm.
