Digital Divide Event on May 21, 2021 ~ SAVE THE DATE
The virtual event will be held on May 21 at 11:30 am. and will be conducted in Spanish and English.
The serious disruption brought on by COVID-19 highlighted and exacerbated the already evident digital divide in our communities. Though much was done to help insure connectivity and technology needs would be met for students, families, at-home workers and others in the community, clearly there is a long way to go to bridge the digital divide in Marin County.
Please join us for this discussion about an issue so related to equity and opportunity for all Marin residents. The event is being sponsored by the Canal Alliance, City of San Rafael, County of Marin, Digital Marin, Marin County of Office of Education, Marin Economic Forum, Marin Promise Partnership, the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF). The attached newsletter provides more information about this critical even.
Registration information to be sent soon.
