East Corte Madera Territory Transfer Petition
UPDATE 2
On January 30, 2023 the Marin County Committee on School District Organization approved Resolution No. 001-2023 regarding the East Corte Madera Territory Transfer petition. The petition has been withdrawn and the State Department of Education has been notified of the withdrawal.
UPDATE 1
During the East Corte Madera Public Hearing on December 15, 2022, the Chief Petitioners stated they were withdrawing their petition to transfer territory from the Reed Union School District to the Larkspur Corte Madera School District. On January 30, 2023, the Marin County Committee on School District Organization (County Committee) will hold a special meeting at the Marin County Office of Education to consider the request to withdraw the petition.
The County Committee is collecting feedback from those who signed the territory transfer petition. If you previously signed the East Corte Madera territory transfer petition, and you wish to provide feedback to the County Committee on the request to withdraw the petition, please follow the instructions below. Public comments from others will be welcome during the public comment portion of the meeting.
