2020 Workshop Series for School Board Candidates
Forum Description:
Marin County Office of Education will be hosting a series of workshops for School Board trustees and trustee candidates on August 17, 18, 19 and 20, 2020, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm each night.
The workshop topics include:
- Board Governance - Roles & Responsibilities -
- Board Governance - Collaboration & Coordination
- Student Programs & Services, Local Control Finance
- Education & Innovative Services and Special Education
Each evening’s presenters will consist of panelists from various districts and the Marin County Office of Education, along with Lozano Smith.

COVID-19 & CARES Funding Webinar
Forum Description:
August 5, 2020 Forum with Terena Mares, Deputy Superintendent and Kate Lane, Assistant Superintendent presented the parameters of COVID-19 and Learning Loss Mitigation funds from federal and state sources, the majority of which must be spent by December 31, 2020.
