Each court, regional center or public agency is required to notify the Marin County SELPA in writng or by telephone prior to placing a child with a disability in a licensed children’s institution (LCI) or a group home and provide the relevant information described in the California Education Code 56156 and Calfornia Code of Regulations 60510 within 10 days.
