LCAP

Complementing the changes to state funding made by the Local Control Funding Formula is the required Local Control Accountability Plan. The LCAP is LCFF’s vehicle for transparency and Educational Partner engagement. It is the way that districts/LEAs are expected to share performance data, needs, actions, and anticipated outcomes.

The LCAP is a three-year plan that begins with Educational Partner engagement to identify needs for all students, using data and measurable student outcomes aligned with the state’s priorities. It includes specific actions and services supported with district resources, with special emphasis on students with the greatest needs.

What follows are resources designed to support districts in the implementation of meaningful planning and implementation practices that strengthen the impact of the LCAP in addressing student needs and fostering inclusive educational growth.

District leadership are invited to join a collaborative learning series designed to advance equity throughout the LCAP. Please see the flier linked here.
