Grant Grover School
Who We Are
The students of Grant Grover School are developing their independent living skills and vocational skills on a daily basis. Our college-aged students engage in travel training and community-based instruction, such as routinely taking the bus and grocery shopping. Through our partnerships with local businesses, our students gain vocational skills that prepare them for employment after graduation. We collaborate with our community business partners to provide practical, on-the-job internship experience. Meanwhile, our onsite curriculum is centered around functional academics including cooking, gardening, and speech.

Our Music
A Culture of Artistic Expression
In addition to its main curriculum, Grant Grover School has a thriving culture of artistic expression. Students participate in weekly visual art, podcasting, and music classes. The fruits of these labors have been showcased in newsletters and events hosted by the Marin County Office of Education, as well as the Marin Farmers Market.

Meet Us at the Farmers Market
The students of Grant Grover create works of art during weekly art classes as a form of self-expression. Once per year, students sell their works at the Marin County Farmers Market. Their booth at the farmers market serves as an opportunity to help students contextualize their art as a business, practice their money skills, and involve themselves in the community. All proceeds from the farmers market go back into the Grant Grover program for curricular use such as grocery shopping and travel training.
