These goals are realized through partnerships, community, preparedness, innovation, service, and shared learning.HSS programming focuses on four primary areas:
- Mental and Behavioral Health and Well-being
- Student Voice and Empowerment
- Substance Use Prevention and Education
- Health and Safety, including suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention; crisis response; and campus safety
Vision Statement
Nourishing the mental health of our students, staff, and colleagues is essential to a thriving community. Our goals include eliminating the stigma associated with mental health, provision of early supports and interventions, preventing all suicides and attempts, and creating a safe place where all are connected and belong.
