CAR APPRECIATION AND PRESERVATION PROGRAM (CAPP)

    Description: Students obtain basic automotive repair skills such as engine mechanics, cooling systems, brakes, body repair, painting, and upholstery. They explore how the automobile has impacted American culture and society. They learn about the classic car industry, including car shows, exhibitions, and rally and race driving. They will be able to identify career paths related to the appreciation and preservation of automobiles.   

    Location: Terra Linda High School, Auto Shop - 320 Nova Albion Way, San Rafael, CA 94903 (see map here)

    Dates: Choose one -

    Tuesdays: January 16 - May 21, 2024, and two Saturdays. Class Focus: Engines

    or

    Thursdays: January 18 - May 23, 2024, and two Saturdays. Class Focus: Fuel Systems, Engine Performance, and Electrical

    Times: 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays; and 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays
