Eligibility Report Writing and the Art of Scoring, Part Two: The Site Based File Review 

Marin SELPA, The Speech Pathology Group and Novato USD invite you to attend Eligibility Report Writing and the Art of Scoring, Part Two: The Site Based File Review on November 17, 2015.  SLPs will review the eligibility and exit criteria for Speech and Language Impairment as stated by the CA Department of Education.  This course meets the qualifications for 3 hours of continuing, professional development credit for Speech-Language Pathologists as required by the CA Speech-Language Patholgy Board.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy Training 2015-16

Marin SELPA is hosting the Cognitive Behavior Therapy Training 2015-16 series that includes a lecture and discussion, followed by demonstration and role play opportunities for the participants.  The next Training in this series takes place on November 18, 2015.

Edcamp

Edcamp is an "unconference" created by the participants with discussions about the educational topics they want to talk about.  Edcamp builds understanding by sharing knowledge.  On November 21, 2015, all educators are invided to join this exciting and innovative opportunity to share your voice and swap ideas.  The Edcamp workshop theme for the November event is: General Education and Special Education Collaboration.

Behavioral Strategies for Students with ADHD

On December 16, 2015, The Marin County Office of Education together with The Diagnostic Center will present the Behavioral Strategies for Students with ADHD workshop presented by Shari Gent, M.S. Education Specialist.  Participants will understand how ADHD influences behavior, and acquire resources to bolster behavioral and social-emotional support for students with ADHD.
