Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
On November 5, 2015, the Marin County Office of Education will provide a Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Marin County supervisory employees. This Training will be led by Carl Corbin, Legal Counsel with School and College Legal Services of California.
Reader's Workshop
The Teachers College Reading and Writing Project founded by Lucy Calkins, has released new units of study. The Marin County Office of Education is hosting Reader's Workshop - Lucy Calkins Based Connecting Common Core State Standards, on November 6, 2015.
National Board Certification
The Marin County Office of Education and Stanford University bring National Board Certification to Marin County Teachers. Discover why teachers say the certification process is the most profound professional development of their career. The next Certification takes place on November 14, 2015.

KQED & NGSS with PBS Learning Media
KQED in collaboration with Marin County Office of Education, is offering a series of webinars and hands-on workshops for teachers, to support the effective use of digital media in the classroom. The KQED & NGSS with PBS Learning Media webinar is scheduled for November 19, 2015.
Principal Institute Leading with Questions
On December 1, 2015, the Marin County Office of Education and Pivot Learning Partners are offering the seminar Principal Institute Leading with Questions. The Principal Institute will focus on the essential role of questions in every aspect of leading and learning.
Using Data to Drive Student Achievement
Using Data to Drive Student Achievement will be presented by Lish Ryaru from West Ed on December 10, 2015, at Marin County Office of Education. District leaders will utilize performance-based planning strategies as they update LCAP goals, priorities and outcomes.

On December 14, 2015, the Marin County Office of Education in collaboration with Beyond Differences, will host a Symposium on Social Media: Inclusion or Isolation, a professional development seminar for 5th-8th grade Teachers, Administrators and Counselors.
