The Golden Bell Awards Ceremony will be held May 26, 2016 at Dominican University. In addition, on April 19, 2016, the Golden Bell teacher reception will take place at the Marin County Office of Education. Golden Bell Teacher nominees will have their group photo taken at this event for the Marin IJ.
Marin Community Foundation - Arts Education
We are excited to share a new opportunity that we are about to embark on with the Marin Community Foundation involving the integration of arts education within our schools and local community based organizations. This is the start of a partnership that may bring additional resources to our county. As we begin this project, MCOE and MCF will be to concurrently hiring a part time arts coordinator and contracting with a private agency to begin a mapping project around arts education in Marin county schools.

The purpose of Child Find is to identify, locate, and evaluate children and youth who are suspected of having or have a diagnosed disability or developmental delay, in order to provide appropriate special education services under the law.

Marinovators showcases the genius and creativity of Marin County students designing and building projects that demonstrate their ability to apply their knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Digital Design and Math to solve real world problems.
The North Coast Beginning Teacher Program is a regional consortium comprised of multiple county offices of education, universities, and over 100 school districts, charter schools, and private schools throughout Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, Nevada, Solano and Sonoma Counties. The NCBTP administers state-approved credential programs and provides support to new and aspiring teachers across the service area.
