Marin Workforce Investment Board - Youth Council Meeting - November 21, 2014

All youth serving agencies are invited to a special meeting of the Marin Youth Council on November 17, 2014 at the Marin Employment Connection from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Agencies, schools and programs working with at-risk youth will learn about College of Marin programs including the new Single Stop wrap-around support services in place for students who need additional support, the Compass Project (outreach and affiliated courses with local high schools), and certification and training programs for youth who are entering the work world.  Guest speakers from the College of Marin will be Tara Arenas, Single Stop Coordinator; Gina Cullen, Counseling Department Chair; and Jonathan Eldridge, Vice President Student Services/Student Learning.
