Career Pathways - Northern California Career Pathway Alliance

Career Pathway Alliance Leaders from Marin County Office of Education, Novato Unified School District, and the San Rafael City School District participated in the first of a series of Leadership Institutes to support collaboration and networking among K-12 partnerships in the region, to build a shared understanding of the Career Pathways Trust Grant, to promote alignment with Local Control Accountability Plan and Common Core State Standards, and to develop strategies to nurture district level conditions to support quality pathways and sustainability. Education Leaders from Sonoma, Solano, Napa, Lake, Mendocino, and Marin participated in the Institute. A highlight of the day was the opportunity to gather  for the first time - the emerging K-12 Marin County team who will be working together to build quality pathways for our high school students, to explore opportunities and priorities for developing partnerships with the community college district and local industry -- to ultimately support student learning and success.
