Information Services - 2nd Annual Marinovators Maker Day - May 2, 2015

The 2nd Annual Marin County Schools MARINOVATORS MAKER Day is scheduled for Saturday May 2, 2015 at the Marin County Office of Education in San Rafael California.

MARINOVATORS 2015 will showcase the work of teams of Marin County students who are applying their knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Digital Design and Math to create new solutions to real world problems. All Marin County public and independent school students and teachers are invited to participate.

MARINOVATORS is partnering with Autodesk, Intel, Microsoft, Google, Lawrence Hall of Science, Sonoma State University and the Santa Rosa Junior College Science and Engineering Department. Several local bay area tech companies and startups will be there as well.

MARINOVATORS is very much of a hands on experience in the spirit of Maker Faire and designed to engage students and the community. Last year's MARINOVATORS was a big success with more than 1,400 visitors getting a chance to talk with student and check out their amazing projects.
