Business Services - Tax Forum - March 17, 2015

The Marin County Office of Education is hosting a Tax Base Forum on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm in the Community Room at the Marin County Office of Education.

Our intent is to gather experts from within Marin County who are familiar with the economic factors that influence the property tax base, such as:

• The effect of current economic trends and their impact on property values
• Development prospects
• Population demographics
• Residential and commercial real estate markets
• The pace of real estate turnovers

Presenters include:

• Roy Given, Director of Finance, Marin County Department of Finance
• Rich Benson, County Clerk, Assessor-Recorder's Office
• Robert Eyler, PhD, CEO, Marin Economic Forum
• Residential and Commercial Real Estate Agent (TBD)
