Emergency Preparedness - Disaster and Citizen Corps Council
Marin County Office of Education staff attended the Disaster & Citizen Corps Council (DCCC) to represent Marin County Schools on March 12, 2015. Agenda items included a presentation on the Napa Earthquake and Lessons Learned, a presentation of the Tsunami Annex to the Marin Operational Area Emergency Operations Plan. A motion to approve recommendation of its adoption to Board of Supervisors passed unanimously. There were also updates on Special Needs Annex, a report on status of Office of Emergency Service Grants, and a report from the Public Disaster Education and Preparedness committee. The next regular meeting is scheduled for June 11, 2015.
