Education Services - Desired Results Developmental Profile Training for Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten Teachers
DRDP-K Informational Meeting May 11, 2015
Marin County Office of Education in collaboration with the early childhood community is working collaboratively to bring forward an opportunity for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten (K) teachers to pilot the new Desired Results Developmental Profile-K (DRDP-K) assessment. The DRDP-K is a research based online assessment tool recommended by the California Department of Education, Child Development Division with WestEd Center for Child and Family Studies. The assessment is intended as a formative tool that will assist TK and K teachers in planning instruction to meet the specific needs of their students.
All teachers will be invited to attend an afterschool meeting in May at the Marin County Office of Education to learn more about the benefits of the pilot program.
