Update on the Status of LCAP Evaluation Rubrics

Jeff Frost has provided the documents below and the following update regarding LCAP evaluation rubrics: 

The State Board of Education is working to implement the required LCAP rubrics.  The Board heard the issue at length during its March meeting.  

The most recent draft of the rubrics seems to indicate that the document will be a critical component in our state's new evaluation process.  As such, there is considerable concern in the field that these rubrics would be used not as a method to inform and improve local programmatic actions but instead as a set of accountability criteria.
