Transportation Authority of Marin Update

At a meeting in March, 2015, the Transportation Authority of Marin's Board of Commissioners approved recommendations made by the Technical Advisory Committee to fund about $4.2 million safe pathway projects around Marin County, including 15 small projects (of $25,000 or less), and 11 large projects ranging from $90,000 to $350,000. The cross walks, bike paths, sidewalks and pedestrian paths are funded through Measure A and will make Marin a safer community for students, families and all. All of the approved projects were supported by parents, school officials, local jurisdictions and public works departments. Some of the smaller projects are already underway.  Click here to view the funding recommendation summary.
