Maintenance Directors - Report
Marin County Office of Education hosted the Marin County Schools Maintenance Director's meeting on May 14, 2015 attended by representatives of San Rafael, Novato, Dixie, Kentfield, Mill Valley, Reed Union, Tam Union, Sausalito Marin City. Agenda items included District updates on implementation of SB 854 Labor Compliance requirements for Public Works projects, Proposition 39 Expenditure Plans and project implementation progress, summer facilities activities. Please note that MCOE will host a presentation on SB 854, Labor Compliance for Public Works Projects for District Business Officials and Facilities / Maintenance Directors at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Phil Henderson, an attorney specializing in construction, public works projects and labor compliance will provide updated information on the law, its requirements and implementation strategies. The meeting is scheduled to directly follow the DBO meeting.
