Emergency Preparedness - Marin Schools Emergency Preparedness Council
The Marin County Office of Education and the Marin County Sheriff's Office hosted the Marin Schools Emergency Preparedness Council (MSEPC) meeting at Marin County Sheriff's Office on May 14, 2015, which included a tour of the Emergency Operations Center. The agenda for the meeting included a report out on the May 7, 2015 Burning Marin Functional Exercise, and the role of schools and districts in a wild land / urban interface fire incident in providing evacuation centers, shelters and providing support for priority evacuations. A report was provided on the May 6, 2015 Marin Schools Emergency Radio Network drill (All Modes Drill). Dates have been set for the 2015-16 Marin Schools Emergency Preparedness Council meetings, Fall Parent Leader Workshops for Emergency Preparedness in Schools (September 30, 2015), and the 2015-16 Marin Schools Emergency Radio Network drills.
